Hope everyone has been having a good week. I’ve been hearing lots of controversy about the movie and book on "The Secret." It seems that people think all they have to do is to think about what they want and it will happen. That is not how the Law of Attraction works. Nothing happens by osmosis. It isn’t hard, however it does take a little work.
Yes, it’s important to change your thinking in order to change your life. However, whether you want a better relationship, more free time, great wealth, a better job, or happiness in life, you have to take action.
When you think positively, put a plan of action into motion and keep moving forward you will attract all the good things you want in life.

Know Exactly What You Want in Life
Most of us now know about ‘The Secret’ movie and what the Law of Attraction means. However, when I was speaking to a group this past week, one of the things that came up was that although they understood what it meant, they weren’t entirely sure how to make the changes so that they could attract exactly what they wanted in life.
As I said last week, the first thing that has to happen is to know exactly what you want in life and how you want your life to look. Then you need to set intentions and very specific goals.
One of the most important things that you need to become aware of are the words that you are using. How we speak is what we think!
If you have created your vision, set your intentions, created great goals and of course are taking action and things are still not happening, your subconscious and conscious mind is probably not in alignment.
To positively attract what you want in life, both areas of your mind need to be working together. There are a number of ways to do this, especially if it’s wealth and success in business that you want to create.

What seeds will you plant this year?
The official date for the first day of spring is March 21st, however now that the clocks have sprung forward, (for those of you that might not remember which way the clocks change, spring forward, fall, backward) here in Southern California spring seems to have definitely begun. The sun is shining, the days are clear and it’s very warm.
New beginnings are not reserved just for the beginning of each year, spring is a very good time to begin something new. New thinking, new goals, new successes.
I always think that life is much like a garden. You decide what you want to grow, you plant the seeds, then tend to it carefully and you get a beautiful, joyful garden full of color and light.
If you haven’t yet decided what you want to attract this year, now is a good time to start.
The first thing to decide is what you really want in life. How do you want your life to look? I mean that quite literally. Most people only ‘think’ they know what they want and how they want their lives to look, however when digging a little deeper with clients, there’s a much bigger picture than, “I want to be happy,” “I want success,” “I want peace,” “I want more money.”
If there was nothing standing in your way, what kind of a picture would you create. Create a vision, then set goals, think positively and watch all the wonderful things you happen that you attract into your life.

Be Careful what you are Attracting
I’d like to share something with you that will show how use “The Law of Attraction"
Can bring negatives into our lives.
I pulled out of a parking lot on a wide street and because it said no left turn, I went down to the next opening where there was a store and I did a U turn. I didn’t go right onto the drive I just turned by the opening. As I was pulling out I noticed that across the road there was a motor cycle cop who had apparently just stopped someone for speeding. In my mind, I said, “well even though he’s finished, he’s still writing and it doesn’t say I can’t make a U turn so there’s no reason for him to stop me."
I’m sure you know what happened. He stepped out into the road, stopped me and gave me a ticket. I actually had no idea that you couldn’t make a U turn in what he said was a business district and there were no signs posted to say I couldn’t. However, the universe obviously wanted to teach me something and because I thought about him stopping me, it actually happened. So, for thinking it wouldn’t happen and focusing on it, I attracted it to me.
Be very careful what you are thinking. What we think expands and that’s what we attract.

The Law of Attraction
Hi Everybody,
Well, we’ve now certainly heard about ‘The Secret.” For those of you that might possibly have not heard about it you can go to www.thesecret.tv and there you will find all the information you would like. However, to bring it down to basics it’s about the principles of The Law of Attraction and how what we focus on is what we attract.
This week I’m going to share with you an excerpt from “The voice of Knowledge” by Don Miguel Ruiz which will bring it into focus another way.
“Before I was born in this physical body, a whole society of storytellers was already here. The story was ongoing and from their story I learned how to create my own. The storytellers who are here before us teach us how to be human.
First they tell us what we are – a boy or a girl – then they tell us who we are, and who we should or shouldn’t be. They teach us how to be a proper woman, a decent woman, A strong man, a brave man.
They give us a name, an identity and they tell us the the role that we are playing in their story. They prepare us to live in a human jungle, to compete with one another, to control one another, to impose our will, to fight against our own kind.
Of course I believed what the storytellers told me. Why would I not believe them? They filled me with knowledge and I used that knowledge to copy their style and create my art in a similar way.”
If you’re not where you want to be in business or in life look at the stories you might be carrying in your head. What are you telling yourself about you? Are you saying “I can’t” instead of “I can,” or “I’m not good enough” instead of “I’m great” or “I don’t deserve to have what I want.” Instead of “I deserve to have all the wealth, Joy and abundance that I want, it is my birthright.

The Secret is Out, Are you Using it?
Happy Valentines week. Whether you have a partner in life or not, you don’t have to be alone on Valentines day. Buy yourself some flowers, enjoy a nice meal with family or friends, have fun. Love you and who you are. You are always going to be the greatest romance you will ever have. Romance and celebrate yourself.
It’s been on Ellen, it’s been on Oprah and on Larry King, are you making it work for you too.
The Secret is the Law of Attraction. As you know, I’ve talked about this before and I intend to talk much more about it. My passion in life is teaching others how to achieve their goals and dreams. I know what it’s like to work hard and not achieve what you want. When I learned how to use The Secret, my whole life changed. If you are not where you want to be in life, change it. You have the power and it’s your choice.
As much as some people won’t like hearing this, we really do create everything that happens to us in life through the energy we put out into the universe with our own thinking. When we change the way we think, we change our lives.
Energy flows where attention goes. Think big. Be outrageous. Decide what you really want in life, think positively and watch the magic happen.

SUCCESS AND IT’S DIFFERENT FACES
I’m in the midst of recording and producing a new product and coaching program and it’s been a little hectic. I hope that you will watch for details of this fabulous new product that will empower you to create a six figure income in 2 years or less and huge success in all areas of life.
I was watching a little of the Golden Globe awards tonight and happened to catch the upcoming new star America Ferrera as she won for best actress in Ugly Betty. In her speech she talked about how you don’t have to be thin and beautiful on the outside to create what you want in life. So right on, I actually clapped. If you haven’t seen the show, check it out, it’s really great, clever, edgy, funny and heartwarming.
It isn’t important what race, color, religion, size, education or background you have, you deserve to have all the wealth, happiness, abundance and joy in life that you want. This is your birthright. Don’t let the messages in your head, the mind chatter that can get in the way, at the wrong times, steal your dreams. Create your own dream. By who you want to be.
If you change negative thinking to positive thinking and take the necessary action, you can attract in to your life whatever you want. Money, happiness, abundance, great relationships. I know, I’ve been there. Go for it, you deserve it.
